The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is an extremely unique book, I don't think there really is another book like it. It's a very clever book, featuring a lot of maths that I didn't understand and facts that messed with my head, but I liked that about it. It made me understand what Christopher's brain was like, knowing things that seem so complicated to me (I got an A at Maths GCSE but haven't taken it any further than that). The actual story was really good, even though it was told in such a different way, I think it had a certain charm to it.
I think I first read this book back in Year 9 English, but we didn't read it in full so I read it at home because my mum had a copy. I remember liking it but not loving it. But then we went to see Curious Incident at The Apollo and I fell in love with the play so decided to re-read the book, which I promptly read in less than a day.
